CRUSA
Policies & Rules |
| How were Try-Outs managed? |
All sessions consisted of a
technical warm-up, followed by a tactical session and finished with a
small sided game. Each coach has the right to deliver this curriculum in
their own manner. The scoring and notation on each player from all
assessors was consistent based on the criteria we were evaluating which
consisted of evaluating skills/technique, tactical skills, physical
application & mental traits. We followed the protocols used by the
Olympic Development Program, WYSA, MYSA and the USSF as well as a standard
format of player scouting reports.
The assessors of
all try outs consisted of some of the highest accredited coaches in the Coulee
Region including current and former collegiate coaches. |
